Are you interested in learning maritime tradition? Become an expert at seamanship, knots and ropes, parts of the boat and boat maintenance. We are excited about this opportunity to bring Aquatics to your Unit’s year-round program! This event will provide a great opportunity for Scouts to hone their creative problem solving and teamwork skills while having lots of fun in the process.
Because of the intense program schedule, MEALS ARE PROVIDED for the entire weekend. Units should not plan their own meals as this will cut into valuable program time. If you have specific dietary needs, feel free to bring your own food or call ahead to make other arrangements. Meals served are as follows:
Saturday – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday – Continental Breakfast
It’s a great opportunity to earn aquatic merit badges and spend the weekend on the shores of the James River. All activities provide advancement opportunities. Food is provided for this event, so bring your appetite. The fun and fellowship is like nothing you’ve experienced! Aquafest is for Venturers, Sea Scouts, and Scouts BSA!
