Pipsico Scout Reservation is your gateway to adventure! We offer an exciting range of activities and programs designed to help Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, and Venturers earn their awards while having a blast. Our facilities are top-notch and inclusive—we've got a 40-foot climbing and rappelling tower, a modern dining hall, an accessible swimming pool with ramp access, separate male and female shower and latrine facilities, a fully equipped health lodge, a trading post, a shooting range, a central shower facility, and 11 latrines with wash stations throughout the property. Everything here is Nationally Accredited through the BSA's NCAP process, so you know you're in great hands.
Our Cub Scout Long-Term Camp is where young scouts and their leaders discover the joy of outdoor exploration together. Den and pack leaders run theme-based programs that bring excitement and fun to every day. Scouts tackle a great mix of activities—swimming, archery, BB guns, handicrafts, sports, and nature—plus special competitions, games, and campfires that keep the energy high. When Scouts BSA arrive for long-term camp, they dive into an aquatics program that's second to none—swimming, lifesaving, sailing, rowing, water-skiing, motor boating, and canoeing right on the James River. Beyond the water, scouts develop real skills through field sports, ecology and conservation, scoutcraft, and handicrafts, all under expert instruction.
