A. Hunters MUST comply with federal, state & local laws/ordinances.
B. Use of hunting dogs at Pipsico is prohibited.
C. Only shotgun hunting is approved.
D. Hunters may use buckshot only (no slugs).
E. No muzzleloaders, rifles, or archery at this time.
F. First and foremost, Pipsico is a Scout camp. Hunting is restricted to weekdays.

The following is read, agreed to, and signed for before every hunt day begins:
A. Stay at the stand that you draw (hunting locations selected by lottery).
B. If you cannot walk to a stand, then swap before the hunt.
C. If you use a tree stand, you must wear a harness.
D. Know the location of the hunters around you.
E. If you bring children, they must be in the stand with you.
F. Load/unload guns on/in your stand ONLY.
G. Breeches must be open at all times while not hunting.
H. Practice safe muzzle control.
I. Be absolutely positive of your target (and beyond) before you shoot.
J. If you harvest a deer, leave it until after the hunt (to not disrupt others).
K. If you get lost or separated, do not wander off.
L. Three horns signal the end of the hunt.
M. Wait for others before leaving at the end of the hunt.
N. Help others drag deer if necessary.
O. The person who shoots the deer tags the deer.
P. Deer may only be dressed in designated locations (not in the field).
Q. Please note any bad stands.
R. Guest fees are due before hunting.
S. ATV’s may be used to retrieve deer at the end of the hunt.
T. Hunters MUST check in & out.

Season Begins: November 17, 2012
Season Ends: January 5, 2013
Morning Hunt: 6AM-11AM (must be checked in by 5:45AM)
Afternoon Hunt: 1PM-4PM (must be checked in by 12:45PM)
-Check-in/out will be done at the Gregson Center at the entrance to Pipsico.
-There may be no more than 20-hunters per calendar day.
-Hunting stands will be no closer than 150 yards from eachother.
-Hunters MUST schedule their hunt no less than two days in advance (by 5PM).
-The initial capacity of the Pipsico Hunt club is 80-hunters.

To join the Pipsico Hunt Club, please submit this form and remit the appropriate fees to the Tidewater Council, Boy Scouts of America office at 1032 Heatherwood Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23455. Checks may be made payable to "BSA." Please write, "Hunt Club" in the memo field.
